  • Sharmila Pamamull

    Lawyer

    Sharmila is a fourth year solicitor with over six years of experience in advertising and marketing law. Sharmila was most recently in a role at a boutique law firm advising relation to various aspects of advertising and marketing law, including trade promotion lotteries and other marketing offers and consumer incentives, agreements and contracts, trade practices and intellectual property matters.

    Prior to working in the legal industry Sharmila completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne.

    Passions: Law, travelling, volunteering, tennis, playing piano and exploring Melbourne restaurants and cafes.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Sharmila has a fondness for finding great shopping deals online.

    Dan Holdsworth

    Lawyer

    Dan currently works for our sister brand Bluerock, he started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving to Allens Arthur Robinson (now Allens Linklaters) where he completed his Article Clerkship. Following his admission as a lawyer, Dan moved to a corporate role with Federation Centres (an ASX top 100 company) where he headed up its Australian tax group. Dan has extensive and practical knowledge of the law having built up over years of involvement in large merger and acquisition transactions and the day to day legal issues involves in owning and operating small to medium sized businesses.

    While his Formula One day dream may have slipped away he can still be found tinkering with the spanners on the weekend.

    Kinga Dezsi

    Lawyer

    Kinga is a second year solicitor with a background in bankruptcy and commercial law. She has worked at a couple boutique law firms before her time at Plexus, and also has extensive retail experience providing her with a unique understanding of the implementation of promotions at an execution level.

    Prior to working in the legal industry Kinga completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Deakin University and Master of Human Rights Law at the Central European University in Budapest.

    Passions: Transforming the legal industry, her dog and enjoying brunch and a good coffee around Fitzroy.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Kinga’s dog has a strict diet of only steamed chicken which has to be meal prepped every Sunday for the following week.

    Bruce McFarlane

    Director

    Bruce, ex-partner of Hall & Wilcox, has recently joined our sister brand Bluerock as Managing Partner. Over the past decade, Bruce has worked closely with businesses of all sizes that are growing by acquisition, franchise expansion or organic development, to assist them to find commercial solutions to legal challenges and problems. Bruce has a strong commercial understanding of businesses and considers the delivery of the highest possible client service an important factor in developing client relationships.

    Charlotte Walker

    Lawyer

    Charlotte is an experienced in-house lawyer with a wealth of experience in property law. In addition she has also acted in relation to a variety of compliance, commercial and corporate matters including purchase of business and advising in relation to capital raising.

    Christine Swan

    Lawyer

    Christine's extensive legal experience includes advising on and negotiating acquisitions and divestments, a variety of contractual arrangements, aged care, franchising, leasing, protection of intellectual property, insolvency, company restructures and company secretarial and risk management. This underpins her experience in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders such as regulators, consumers and government.

    Nektaria Vasilopoulos

    Lawyer

    Nektaria is an excellent general commercial lawyer with over 10 years’ experience in leading law firms, government departments and a global company. She is a high performing, trusted legal adviser and a recognised problem solver of complex legal matters.

    Julia Hassall

    Lawyer

    Julia is a commercial lawyer with a slightly out of the ordinary background that lends itself extremely well to in-house engagements where she builds immediate rapport in new businesses and engages with multiple stakeholders.

  • Andrew Meagher

    Chairman

    Andrew is a Barrister practicing predominantly in commercial law and corporate crime. Prior to this he worked for a number of years at one of Australia’s largest law firms. Andrew is also an Officer in the Australian Army Reserve.

    Passions: Law, history, travel, and sport.

    Something you probably shouldn't know: Andrew claims he can speak Latin. Probably badly, but we have never found anyone who can confirm this.

    Andrew Mellett

    CEO

    Andrew was most recently an Asia Pacific Director of the Finance, Strategy, and Legal Practice for a global NYSE listed consulting firm. Andrew advised CFOs, Heads of Strategy, General Counsel and Internal Audit of 85% of the ASX100 and large corporates throughout the region.

    Passions: Water sports, travel, and innovative business models.

    Something you probably shouldn't know: Andrew once won a bet that he could visit every country with Stan in it's name. Some feat given there was a war on in Afghanistan at the time.

    Jess McKay

    Chief Operating Officer

    Jess was formally the Executive General Manager responsible for IT, Finance and Administration of a large healthcare organisation. Prior to this, she was in senior management at a number of large management consulting organisations.

    Passions: music, beach living and her young family

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Jess is one of the few hippies to ever top the Certified Practising Accounting course.

    Rick Junnier

    Chief Commercial Officer

    Rick has a passion for people, technology, great ideas and disruption that creates value and drives growth. He has a strong track record of success creating new businesses that deliver tremendous value for customers and rewarding experiences for the people building them. Rick's experience spans a multitude of technologies, geographies and industries, product creation, marketing, sales, general management, leadership, strategy, M&A, integration, P&L performance and change management in lots of different cultures and business contexts.

    Passions: family, cooking (eating mostly), mountain biking, snowboarding, surfing, travel.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Rick has hung up his running shoes, but is a two-time Ironman with 50+ triathlons under his belt.

    Anna Pearson

    General Manager - Secondment

    Anna was formally the General Manager for Axiom in Singapore responsible for the company's growth and success in the region. Prior to that she was the co-founder of Axiom's business in the UK building and developing the company over 8 years in London. She has extensive experience with global legal innovation, sales and account management across multiple geographies including leading managed services and technology sales in the sector. Before moving into commercial roles Anna was a Lawyer with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and Minter Ellison in Australia, she has Business and Law degrees from QUT in Queensland.

    Passions: Pilates; Movement, travel and my family.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Anna was a former Irish Dancer.

    Ed Pullen

    Marketing Director

    Ed is an experienced Marketer with over 10 years experience across a range of industries including media, technology, retail, education, marketing services and legal. Ed has a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University and an Advanced Diploma of Marketing from RMIT.

    Passions: Surfing, running, mental health, meditation, sport, sport… sport.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Ed is completely obsessed with sport. Ask him about it at your own risk… you’ll never hear the end of it.

    Paul Birk

    UK Commercial Director

    Paul has worked in the UK legal sector for over a decade providing private practice and in-house lawyers access to a range of services. Following a stint in true executive search he joined the number one technology research business where he developed their UK presence in the legal sector from almost a standing start. He then continued to provide consultancy services ranging from technology innovation and market strategy through to leadership skills and diversity strategies. Prior to joining Plexus, Paul led the creation of the world's largest legal market survey of in-house legal leaders.

    Passions: Paul has a passion for art, and enjoys sculpting and painting. He also enjoys keeping fit through martial arts and general fitness training.

    Something you probably shouldn't know: Paul has always been a keen dancer and liked to remain at the forefront of dance trends. This came to an abrupt halt in 2009 when he bent too far back while doing the limbo to the song “Lean-Back” and as a result needed knee surgery.

    Patrick Fong

    Head of Product

    Patrick was most recently the Chief Technology Officer of a social media management platform prior to joining Plexus as a Product Manager. Patrick is a leading technology executive with over 12 years’ experience building cloud-based applications and leading software development.

    Passions: Music, food and travel.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: I like to produce EDM (Electronic Dance Music).

    Richard Kohinga

    Commercial Director

    Richard was most recently a sales director and Head of Markets for KPMG in Victoria, where he helped drive growth, develop client relationships and enhance the firm's brand and reputation.

    Prior to this, Richard worked in senior sales and marketing roles in Australia, Asia and the Middle East, where he successfully led sales and marketing teams and advised clients in customer experience and sales transformation. Prior to KPMG, Richard worked in government, utilities and financial services.

    Passions: Making amateur documentaries, coaching touch rugby, getting lost on family road trips.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Richard once hitch-hiked across the United States – inspired by ‘On the road’, by Jack Kerouac.

    Sharmila Pamamull

    Senior Counsel

    Sharmila joined Plexus from a boutique law firm specialising in marketing and media. Sharmila graduated with a Bachelor of Laws & Bachelor of Science from The University of Melbourne.

    Passions: Law, travelling, volunteering, tennis, playing piano and exploring Melbourne restaurants and cafes.

    Something you probably shouldn't know: Sharmila comes from a family of jewelers. But doesn't like wearing jewelery.

    Alistair Griffin

    Business Analyst

    Alistair was a Senior Business Analyst at a Financial Services Tech firm in the UK prior to moving to Melbourne at the start of 2017. Previously working for a mixture of mature start-ups and larger corporates on both permanent and contract basis he has worked on a variety of business and IT projects.

    Passions: Travel, Hiking, Photography and Music.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Alistair used to play guitar in a Thrash metal band

    Angelica Clack

    Associate Director Talent

    Angelica was the Research Manager and a Consultant at one of Melbourne's top executive search firms prior to joining Plexus. She holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science.

    Passions: Travel, creative design and health.

    Something you probably shouldn't know: Angelica agrees that having four syllables in your name is a bit much and goes by Gels.

    Cil van der Merwe

    Senior Legal Counsel & Associate Commercial Director

    Cil is a dual qualified lawyer (admitted in England & Wales and NSW) and started his legal career at Wedlake Bell in London (with secondments in-house at Diageo and Vestey Foods), before joining DibbsBarker (now Dentons) in Sydney.
    Cil is now a member of the Commercial team at Plexus and uses his legal experience to provide valuable insights for all stakeholders to achieve the vision of transforming the value of in-house legal teams using Legal Gateway. Cil is passionate about shaping and building the ‘future of the law’.

    Passions: Rugby, cricket, fishing and water sports (basically any sport!), spending time with friends and family, food and travelling.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Cil must be the only Afrikaans POM around!

    Evan Jewell

    Financial Controller

    Evan has a broad range of finance experience, starting in professional services at Pitcher Partners, before spending time as a senior Finance leader at Sportsbet and running the finance function of a wagering Start Up. Evan has a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and is a Chartered Accountant.

    Passions: Sport, learning and his young family.

    Something you probably shouldn't know: Evan does not eat sugar and has not done so for the past 4 years. It has fundamentally changes his life!

    Alexander Smith

    Customer Success Manager

    Alex cut his teeth in Sales, Account Management and Customer Success with a UK based CRM and e-Commerce developer. Overseeing the transition of a wide range of customers from traditional on-premise to SaaS solutions, his last role enabled him to develop a keen understanding of the ever-changing disciplines of Customer Success. Alex is now building upon his past achievements to drive Customer Success initiatives at Plexus, enabling customers to succeed and achieve their desired outcomes.

    Passions: Friends, scuba diving, reading and retro video games.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Back in the UK, Alex spent the vast majority of his disposable income on vinyl records.

    Andrew Trigg

    Principal Engineer

    Andrew is an experienced software engineer with over 20 years of experience. Andrew is an expert in Agile processes and practices, software engineering and team collaboration. He has experience of a wide variety of domains across many industries. He joins Plexus after many years as a key engineer for a global, market-leading, Australian SaaS company that was recently acquired by one of the largest global software organisations.

    Passions: Family, Music, Motorcycle riding, Programming

    Something you probably shouldn't know: The number of board games Andrew owns is embarrassingly huge

    Bulkan Evcimen

    Engineer

    Bulkan has been working as a Software Engineer ever since he graduated from RMIT Software Engineering in 2007.

    Most recently Bulkan was a User Interface Engineer at a global, market-leading, Australian SaaS company in which he worked on multiple products and helped modernised existing ones.

    Passions: Programming, playing a Ney which is classical Turkish reed flute for ten years, photography and collecting fountain pens.

    Something you probably shouldn't know: He has been learning to play the mandolin.

    Prashanth Jayakumar

    Engineer

    After graduating with a degree in telecommunication engineering, Prashanth joins Plexus with over 13 years of experience as an engineer. Prior to joining Plexus, Prashanth honed his skills at Alliance, Goldman Sachs and Infosys Ltd.

    Passions: Music and Sports

    Something you probably shouldn't know: Prashanth would like to roam around the world and visit every country possible

    Gokul Krishnan

    Engineer

    Gokul is a seasoned software engineer with a Masters in IT from RMIT. He has experience in agile and devops practices. Prior to joining Plexus, Gokul worked at Aconex across all their major products.

    Passions: Running, Strength training, Food, and Netflix

    Something you probably should not know: Once upon a time, Gokul could do 100 pushups in 2 minutes.

    Khoa Le

    Software Engineer

    Khoa is a software engineer who gained some experience in the financial industry in Singapore before coming to Melbourne to study his Master of IT. He fell in love with the city and decided to stay here for good. Khoa loves to understand how things work and explore new ideas. His area of focus has always been backend development and DevOps, however he is also on his way to discover other exciting fields at Plexus.

    Passions: Technology, travelling (if his savings suffice), rock climbing, trekking & 80s’ music

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Khoa has to restrain himself from buying new books as he often doesn't have the time to digest each and every of them!

    Max Pfeifer

    Marketing Optimisation & Social Impact Manager

    Max is an accomplished marketer, product manager and strategist, having cut his teeth in the non-profit space before moving across to the tech world. He has spent the last three years as a strategist and client service lead for Australian marketing technology startup Peazie, and previously was the National Media Director for peer-to-peer fundraising campaign Live Below The Line.

    Passions: Cooking, cycling, craft beer.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Max lives above a pub in North Fitzroy.

    Brittany Rogers

    Office Manager

    Brittany was a Personal Assistant at one of Melbourne's top executive search firms prior to joining Plexus. Brittany holds a Diploma in Human Resources and is now currently completing a Bachelor of Commerce at Deakin University.

    Passions: Fitness & Food

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Brittany’s love for fitness has her up before 5:00 am every morning.

    Walker Fraser

    Sales Associate

    Prior to joining Plexus, Walker worked as a Business Development Representative in San Francisco with tech giant, Oracle. While at Oracle, he gained key insights into how large organisations operate and function. Walker holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from California Polytechnic State University.

    Passions: Surfing, diving, skateboarding, hiking, pretty much anything outdoors.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Walker lived out of a van, travelling around Australia for six months prior to joining Plexus.

    Jon Fister

    Quality Assurance Engineer

    Jon made his debut into Quality Assurance through gaming, where he offered defects, improvements and suggestions to the company who made his favourite game as a hobby. He found he loved it and quickly turned this into a profession.

    Jon previously worked on projects for Medibank, Victoria Police, VicRoads and smaller startup companies. His approach to quality in products is centred around his unique exploratory testing skills, which earned him the nickname "The Virus".

    Passions: Gaming, Reading, Breaking things, Learning, Making puns

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Jon has spent over 3600 hours on League of Legends where he has reached top 1000 out of 100,000,000 people (top 0.01%)!

    Patric Cui

    Junior Software Engineer

    Patric is passionate about building software solutions to solve difficult problems. Before joining Plexus as a junior software engineer, Patric worked at Dun & Bradstreet Inc as a software developer. Patric holds a Master of Computer Science from RMIT University.

    Passions: Apart from computer science, Patric deeply enjoys modern art and classical music. His favourite styles include music from the baroque era and avant-garde music. He enjoys going to concerts to see his favourite string quartet bands once in a while but loves buying CDs of various musicians and composers he has followed for years.

    Something you probably shouldn't know: Patric doesn't usually share his passion for music unless he is really close to you so...

    Kinga Dezsi

    Lawyer - Promotion Wizard

    Dougall Stevenson

    Technical Consultant

    Dougall was previously a Paralegal for a consulting tax lawyer and has experience as a Comedy Producer. Dougall has a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and International Studies) and is currently completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne.

    Passions: travel, sketch comedy, water sports and food.

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: In a moment of spontaneity, Dougall once hopped on a bus from Lyon to Munich before realising he'd left his passport and money at the hotel.

    Rochelle Holroyd

    Legal Talent Manager

    Rochelle joined Plexus after graduating from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Human Resource Management, Managing and Accounting. Rochelle has vast experience in HR and Administration.

    Passions: Nature, music and the Geelong Football Club.

    Something you probably shouldn't know: Rochelle has a keen interest in natural remedies and once tried to cure a cold with an onion.

    Teresa Bui

    Team Assistant

    Teresa was an accounts manager and licensing assistant for a toy distribution company prior to joining Plexus. She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne.

    Passions: Cooking, trying new foods and travel

    Something you probably shouldn’t know: Teresa attended the world premiere in LA of the 2017 film Wonder Woman
